    Description

TINY CLEAR GLASS OPEN SALT CELLAR DIP TO FIT A CHAMPLEVÉ ENAMEL LINER
Please Note: This item is now free shipping!!!
When this listing was originally started there were two (2) of these salt dishes available.
You can buy one (1) or
as many as are still showing as available through this listing.
Just to be clear, the $ 7.99 price is for each salt. Please keep in mind that since only one of these salts was photographed for this listing there may be some very minor or slight differences in the appearance of the other one.
    This is a tiny r
    ound glass individual salt cellar.
I believe it to have originally been made to fit into a metal liner like those pictured in the below mentioned book, although it could certainly be included in a collection as it is.
The glass salt is a fine quality clear or crystal colored piece of pressed glass with a factory ground and polished rim.
It has a diamond point pattern over all the exterior and has a 12-point star in the bottom.
This salt is similar in shape, size and style to the glass salts pictured in Photos # 2016-2020 in the book
    5,000 Open Salts: A Collector’s Guide
by William Heacock and Patricia Johnson.
The authors name France as the country of origin for these.
I do my best to describe all items as accurately as possible and to the best of my ability.
Some of my photos may be somewhat lighter or darker than actual to better show detail or color.
However, do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, comments, or with requests for additional pictures.
I will get back to you as soon as I am able.
I want your transaction with me to be exactly the way I want mine to be when I am the buyer.
Please take a moment and visit our eBay store “TNK Antiques”.
You can access our store through a link in any of our eBay listings.
Our store has many unique and interesting items in several different categories from 35 years of our dealing and collecting antiques and collectables.
    Age and Condition
    Circa 1920.
It is in very good original condition.
Please look closely at the photos as they are an important part of my description of this item.
There is some very minor roughness (extremely tiny flea bites) to the top rim and to a couple of the points on the pattern.
Otherwise, there are no chips, flea bites, cracks, hairlines or repairs.
Please keep in mind these photos can be blown up at least 8X-10X times normal, so anything you see will look 8X-10X times larger in the photos than it really is.
Please note: if you see a dark spot in the photos it is from my camera and is not a mark on the piece.
It will be either just to the right of center towards the bottom or slightly above center on the right side of the photo.
    Approximate Dimensions
About 1.375” (3.5 cm) in diameter and sits about .75” (1.9 cm) off the table.
The foot (the part that would fit into a metal liner) is about .875” (2.2 cm) in diameter
    Approximate Weight
    About .625 ounce (19 grams).
    SALES TAX
I am required to charge 6.5% Ohio State Sales Tax on all purchases shipped to an address within the State of Ohio.
