Sterling Membership Card-Jerome Lucius Cheney - February 23, 1922- Syracuse Lodge No. 501
Jerome was a very Prominent Freemason in NY and involved in the appendant bodies as well.
It flashes in the light like the sun.  It is hard to get a good photo.  It does have a few scratches,and I did clean it a bit....  The funny splotch in the photo of the back is the reflection of the camera.
57.7 grams.   It is definitely sterling and is expertly engraved
As of 6/8/21 the gold scrap value works out to about - give or take.
There are three separate but related values here... the materials of the metal, the artistic and craftsmanship value,and the value of this item's in its place in history.
It must have been in fashion to give these out in the 1920's and 1930's.  I have a bunch of them!  Se my other auctions.
I have had this card and long time and have put off selling it because I do not want to see it melted.  I like it very much.
