    Description

    This model of SONY, one of the most popular multi band shortwave receivers, works perfectly on all bands including FM, medium wave and short waves.Tested with included AC cord and 6 "D" batteries (not included).  Sound is loud, crisp and clear. All buttons/ switches work as intended. Both dial lights  work. Tuning meter and display feature work perfectly. Antenna is complete and straight, no kink or bend, stays positioned at any angle. Battery contact points in its compartment are little rusted but not corroded and the radio works perfectly with batteries too. No chip or crack on the case, just   used marks here and there. Shipped with USPS or FedEX. No International shipping.
    Tuning method of FM and MW is simple but optimum reception on shortwaves is achieved with the help of preselector knob. AM gain control should also be set at maximum or normal level while tuning in all AM bands.Dial lights remain illuminated  all the time when  plugged in AC outlet but with batteries, it works with the press of the yellow button.
