    Description

Offered here is a 2” hanging metal badge honoring Spanish-American War hero and Presidential hopeful candidate, George Dewey. His image is clearly depicted within the star and name above. I’m not sure if this is a Shriners badge, or if the person who wore it attended a session in Mt Sinai or Montpelier because there is no date shown on the badge.
It is likely an early 1900s piece, however. It does show some wear, front and back, but it is still in very good condition and would fit nicely in a Masonic or Admiral Dewey collection.
