Today we are happy to offer for sale a lovely vintage Italian porcelain neo-rococo figural group. This lavish and ornate piece, made by Crystallus Capodimonte, is finely crafted and detailed. It depicts a young noble couple engaging in amorous flirtation. The lovely dark-haired young lady wears a fanciful pink and gilt court gown and carried a floral basket, while the the gentleman wears a chartreuse and gold chemise and holds a baby goat. They rest on a grassy floral ground. The white and gold base features a rococo rocaille design at the front. The piece is marked inside "Crystallus" and "Italy"
Figure presents well and is in good vintage condition, with minor display wear and patina commensurate with age. The man's neck has an old crack/repair. There are scattered fleabite chips. There is one chip on back bottom edge. Item sold as-found - please review all photos before purchasing.
