Fine 10K Gold Masonic York Rite Royal Arch Knights Templar Keystone Pendant Fob

Description

Presented is a very beautiful and fine quality Master Mason's Knights Templar keystone pendant in 10 karat gold.  The bale of the fob/pendant attaches to a well-cast and nicely engraved European-style closed knight's helmet with neck and shoulder armor that is on a hinge which swivels forward and back.  A large Maltese cross hangs below it, decorated on the front with a red enameled cross positioned among crossed swords and a royal crown in high relief. The sides or arms of the cross are incised with the Latin phrase "In Hoc Signo Vinces",  which translates in English to "In this sign thou shalt conquer".
The back of the pendant shows a white enameled wheel with the following letters in gold: "H.T.W.S.S.T.K.S.", which, based on internet research, comes from the Masonic Volume of Sacred Law and stands for "Hiram Tyrean Widow's Son, Sendeth to King Solomon". Intricate engraved flourishes decorate the gold around this centerpiece and a very fine threaded border is engraved all the way around the outer edges of the Maltese cross.
The condition of the pendant is excellent. There is a small amount of wear that is only detectable when scrutinizing the engraved border on the outside edges of the back of the cross.
