  • Condition: This is a beautiful large fraternal pin ribbon It has lettering on both sides .One side is the usual red white & blue waving flags & the other side has a pair of shaking hands in the frame at the top The ribbon s black with silver lettering "IN MEMORIAM" at the topThere is some fraying of the silk ribbon that the flags are on which is not unusual since silk tends to dry out over timeThere is no damage to the ribbon underneath on either sideThe gold bullion fringe is in very good condition

    Description

    The
    Knights of the Ancient Order of the Mystic Chain
    was a secret society in the US in the late nineteenth century.
    Founded by Freemasons
    in 1871, the group had a strong Masonic influence in its rituals and degrees, as well as incorporating elements from the Bible
    and Arthurian
    legends
    This is a beautiful large fraternal pin /ribbon
    It measures approx 7.75" long X 2.5" wide
    plus a 2" long fringe of gold bullion
    It  has lettering on both sides .
    On the front side is the usual red white & blue waving flags & medallion
    There is some fraying of the s ilk ribbon
    that the flags & medallion are on which is not unusual since silk tends to dry out over time
    Text on the front reads :
