    , Harry Houdini owned, single "plug" leg shackle from the Houdini's original locks, keys and cuffs collection.
    This rare and authentic Houdini artifact was offered at the Butterfields & Butterfields
    "Houdini Magical Hall of Fame"
    auction in Los Angeles, California - on November 15, 1999.
    Auction catalogue included with this offering.
    On page 27, of the catalogue, it states:

    Alamo Cuff
    From the Houdini Collection
    This single cuff, made in England and used
    in 1836 during the Texas War of
    Independence, was later found buried in the
    sands at the Alamo and comes from
    Houdini's personal collection. Housed in a
    shadowbox display with a small color
    reproduction of a Houdini poster and a
    letter of provenance signed by Sidney H.
    Radner of the Houdini Historical Center.
