Description
This is a 14k yellow gold Masonic Royal Arch High Priest jeweled medal in the original box. It measures appx. 4 7/8" tall by just over 2" at the widest point and weighs appx. 45 grams on a scale that weighs to the nearest gram. It is not marked that I can find but was tested with acid and stays strong at 14k although it may not be exact. Tested on just one place to minimize wear and it was on the bottom plate only. The red stone at the top is damaged and appears to me to be glass. It has 12 beveled stones for the 12 tribes of Israel and the jasper and agate appear to be genuine but I'm not sure about the others. It is engraved on the back H.P. 1879-1882 Mt. Lebanon R.A.C. Milford Mass. to E. Comp. Charles E. Whitney (I think that's correct). The box is original although broken at the hinge and worn and is marked Godfrey Jepson Winter St. Boston, Mass. The condition other than the damaged glass stone is excellent with no other flaws to the medal that I can find. US shipping only.
