PLEASE READ IN FULL BEFORE BUYING MY HATCHING EGGS...
    Dear Friend,
First, I thank you for taking the time to check out my listings.  I so appreciate your time and consideration.  Getting hatching eggs from across the country is exciting.  It's a chance to experience a piece of someone else's farm and add new blood lines or a brand new breed to your flock.  I love to buy hatching eggs on eBay and want to share a piece of my farm with you, too.
Before you buy, read the following:
    This is what I promise:
    -The eggs will be fresh.
-I will package them very carefully, individually wrapping each egg and then placing them in a wrapped carton, which is surrounded by shredded paper.
-The eggs are of quality breeding stock, and the parents are kept in a separate pen together, apart from other breeds.  I like to keep a 3:1 ratio to ensure they are all fertilized regularly.
-Eggs are shipped Priority Mail and you will receive a tracking number when they are dropped off at the post office.  Priority Mail can be 2-5 days and there may be additional delivery delays that are out of my control.  You can still successfully hatch eggs that are up to a week or more old, in some cases 2-3 weeks old.  This is why I only send eggs that are fresh- to give a cushion in the shipping and then allowing time to rest once you receive them.
-I will respond to messages within 24 hours.
This is what I CANNOT promise:
-I cannot promise or guarantee hatch rates or that you will actually hatch birds from the eggs.  A successful hatch is dependent on many factors that are completely out of my control (humidity, quality incubator, temperatures, rough shipping, allowing the eggs to rest, etc.)
-I cannot promise that the eggs will be unbroken.  What happens once they leave my possession is out of my control.
-I cannot refund or replace eggs.
If you decide to buy, you AGREE to:
-Accept that buying hatching eggs is a risk, including the risk that you may not have a successful hatch.
-You will give feedback based on receiving eggs in a timely manner, the promptness of my communications, and the quality packaging of the eggs.
-You will not give feedback based on whether or not you successfully hatch eggs, or have a high hatch rate.
-Understand that I do not accept returns or replace eggs.
-Message me right away with any concerns or problems.  I will do everything I can to help resolve an issue, within reason.
-When your eggs arrive, before you put into the incubator/broody hen, you will let your eggs rest on the countertop for 12 hours with the pointy end down.  This allows the air cell to settle back into place and to acclimate to stable temperatures.
-Do not wash the eggs, as they have a natural, protective coating.  I have already wiped them down to get any debris off the shell.
-Do proper research on how to hatch eggs and contact me with any questions.  I can do my best to help answer questions.  Hatching eggs is an exact science and if you do not understand this, please do not purchase my eggs.
-Please consider sending me pictures of your hatched babies!  I hope to include "baby pictures" from satisfied customers in my listings.
My Cayuga flock is always a favorite to pull up a chair and watch them play in the water, forage, or preen their feathers.  They live with me in Wisconsin, where the temperatures can get -60 F at times.  They are winter hardy!  Some of the females are several years old and are still laying every single day.  We have a couple crested but many without.  It is fun to watch them get broody and hatch out their own ducklings.  I hope you enjoy this fun breed!
Thank you for your time and I wish you many happy blessings.
    Stephanie
